Good news to all Baguio and La Trinidad based Mamas out there!😊 I\’ve found a pampering space for us Mamas that we can bring our babies with us and they too can have a relaxing day at a spa. That\’s a win-win in my book.😊

Beauty Planet has all the features a spa a Mom looking for a pamper-me day can expect; You can get a massage, a facial, get your nails done or use their steam room. They also have other beauty services like eyelash extensions and slimming treatments. It\’s literally a one-stop-beauty-spa place.😁

As I mentioned earlier, you can bring your babies to Beauty Planet for a relaxing spa day too as they feature a Baby Spa, perfect for babies who are 0-24 months old. It includes Hydrotherapy and a Neonatal Massage or Infant Massage, performed by qualified professionals. I\’ve gotten my nails done loads of times before, but Beauty Planet is the only one that doesn\’t use a nipper to remove cuticles and dry skin.😁 Yes, you read that right. There is no nipper in sight! They used a drill thingy to remove the cuticle and dry skin on my nails for both my hands and feet. I think this is way better as no nipper = no cuts and no ouchies.👍🏻

I\’ve been cut before by nippers, so I definitely love this new way of removing the cuticle and dry skin, but I\’m told that this isn\’t very effective on people who have an ingrown, I don\’t have any, so that\’s great, maybe they remove ingrown too, I don\’t know, but I guess you can ask them if that\’s an issue you\’re worried about.

Nail polish application can be improved though, especially when it\’s gel and you want the polish to last longer, I noticed a lot of imperfections, but, it looks great from afar, and as \’C\’ likes to point out, no one will notice because no one looks really up close at anyone\’s nails, unless they\’re me.😂

The Baby Spa is equipped with 3 baby jacuzzis, perfect for 0-24 month old babies and a larger one for older kids, aged 3-7.

The baby jacuzzi is where the Hydrotherapy comes in. Hydrotherapy helps babies improve their motor skills and relieve stress. It\’s also great for babies who suffer from eczema, ask your pediatrician about it today.

Being in the water reminds them of being in the womb, floating in the amniotic fluid, so they are more inclined to relax, thus decreasing their stress hormones.

Yes, babies do get stressed out. I mean, wouldn\’t you be, if you couldn\’t talk and tell people exactly what you want and need? I bet it can be frustrating, very stressful.

After the Hydrotherapy, an infant massage follows.

I love the infant massage and the effects and benefits it has for babies, in fact, I loved it so much, I learned how to do it so I can do it to all my babies.

Infant Massage Benefits

✅ Improves sleep – if your babies have trouble staying asleep, then maybe they need a massage. A bath followed by a massage helps babies sleep easier and for longer. Trust me, when I want \’B\’ to sleep so I can work but don\’t want to breastfeed for a long time, I give her a bath and a massage after and she\’s guaranteed to sleep straight for 2-4 hours, until I wake her up or \’L\’ does with his noises.😁

✅ Improves digestion – this is perfect for babies who are just starting to take in solid food.

✅ Relieves gas – Babies need to fart or burp to relieve gas easily, if they have trouble farting or burping, a massage can definitely help with that.

✅ Increases blood circulation

✅ Reduce stress – babies also produce stress hormones like cortisol when they are anything but calm, a good massage, just like in adults, can help relieve stress, reducing the production of cortisol.

✅ Promotes bonding – my absolute favorite about giving a baby a massage is that the bonding between us is strengthened.

✅ Relieves teething pains – if you\’ve ever had a teething toddler, you\’ll know how important it is to relieve their pain.

First of all, the Baby Spa is approved by local and international pediatricians.💯

I brought \’B\’ along on my spa day and at this point, I think I enjoyed it more than she did, but only because she\’s at the age where she doesn\’t really like strangers touching or even looking at her, so yeah, putting her in that baby jacuzzi for the Hydrotherapy was a bit challenging.😅

\”O\” and I took turns holding her while she was on the baby jacuzzi, but then they attached a floatie on her neck and she was afloat on her own for a while.

I think that if \’B\’ could talk 😁, she\’d have told me that she did in fact enjoy it because she has such a looong nap when we got home.😁

So yes, it\’s definitely \’B\’ recommended.😊
